Pre RE: Run for the Dolphins...

I almost forgot, this is one of the best races that I missed in 2010. So, when the registration started last December, I registered right away. Dreaming to conquer the Skyway and now here's my chance. Starting next week, I'll ramp up my long runs because I was disappointed with my performance on my last race. Hoping to set a new 10K PR. ;)

See you at the starting line and keep on T runnin'. ;)

Pre RE: Run for the Economy...

My 2010 running season is still about to conclude this coming weekend. But the other day, I just registered to kickoff my 2011 season. Many thanks Maki for the accommodation! ;)

Come & join PSE Bull Run 2011 - Takbo para sa Ekonomiya (Run for the Economy) on January 9, 2011. Let us do our share in kick starting our 2011 economy!!! ;)

See you at the race and keep on T runnin'. ;)

Pre RE: Help Give A Child A Pair Of Shoes...

When I was a kid, I dream that someday I will run the Milo Marathon. Then 30 odd years later, I am now registered to the Philippines most prestigious national marathon (How I wish the organizers and sponsors can make this international and put the Philippines on the international marathon map. Another tourism attraction!). Though I am still on the comeback trail sort of, I just registered for the 5k fun run. Hehehehe! :D

I'm sure glad in my own little way
I can help to give a less fortunate child to have a pair of shoes. ;)

Pre RE: Building Homes...

I thought Run United 2 will be my last race event this 2010. But a last minute decision to join two more race, the ING Running 20 to be held on December 11 and the other is MILO Marathon Finals (though not yet registered as of this writing) the next day.

The beneficiary Habitat for Humanity is intending to build 20 homes for the re-location of Pasig river informal settlers.

Again, it's just my little way to help. ;)

Please see the Habitat Site.

Pre RE: Tune Up Run...

I got my race bib yesterday though the singlet will be available by next week. This run will be a tune up/gauge to measure my progress in the run up to Run United 2. Hehehehe!

And it's my little way of helping kids, Hands On Manila. ;)

Pre RE: Trying to race again...

Pre RE = pre race event***

For the past couple of weeks, I am scouring the net for a worthy race to make a comeback of sorts. And there were lots of good races on the calendar but I'm a bit picky. Hehehehe. :D I saw some interesting race but...

I have to pass on running the 10.10.10 Run for Pasig River. Why? I am still suffering the horrors of the Century Superbods held last February. Now, w
ith more than 116K runners (organizers are gunning for a new Guinness world record), I reason out that no casual-but-serious-enough-runner can make a decent race in this event . Though it is worth to join for the love of nature, the restoration of a dying river. But then again...

Then I tried to register (about a week ago) on the Adidas King of the Road 2010 but since no more singlets of my size available plus the design is not hohummm. I thought it is not worth the registration fee being asked for. Not practical in my opinion. So, I pass on this one too. :P

Then yesterday, I registered to the 3rd leg of the Run Rio Trilogy - Run United 2 slated for November 20. It is only proper to register having joined the previous two legs of the trilogy.

Admittedly, I lost the appetite to run when the rainy season began.
I am hoping this will motivate me to run frequently again. There's ample time on my feet to get in shape. ;)

So, see you at the race.
